On January 28, 2022, the Decolonizing and Indigenizing Engineering Education Network (DIEEN) hosted a session about Indigenous access to engineering education programs. The group first heard from Melanie Howard, who provided an overview of Queen’s University’s Indigenous Futures in Engineering program, and then from Randy Herrmann, who spoke about the University of Manitoba’s Engineering Access Program. The presentations touched on how the programs operate, the programming and services that they offer, and the benefits that they provide to Indigenous students. The presentations were followed by a period of questions and answers from session participants.

The presentations and questions and answers period were recorded and are now available for viewing.
