Join Engineers Canada at the 2025 30 by 30 Conference: Solutions and accountability towards an inclusive engineering profession, in Vancouver, BC, on May 21. Register now on the conference website to take advantage of early-bird pricing.

Engineers Canada envisions an inclusive and welcoming engineering profession that truly reflects the diversity of Canadian society. Over the past decade, we have focused on addressing the underrepresentation of women through research, community building, knowledge sharing, and uniting the profession around the 30 by 30 goal. The 2025 30 by 30 Conference will bring together leaders from engineering regulation, employers, and education to address how they have removed and will remove barriers within their control and influence, collaborate on innovative solutions, and promote accountability for fostering the success of women and marginalized groups in the profession.

Engineers and engineering employers, regulators, educators, and students are invited to attend this year’s conference. You will hear from world-class, cutting-edge speakers and presenters on equity, diversity, and inclusion topics of relevance to the engineering profession. You will leave with concrete solutions to barriers to recruitment, retention, and advancement of women in engineering that can be applied in engineering regulation, workplaces, and academia. You will have opportunities to network and share knowledge with your engineering and employer peers from across Canada. And you will leave inspired by this purpose-built community gathering to continue working to advance equity, diversity, and inclusion in engineering.

The 2025 conference will be held at the Sheraton Vancouver Wall Centre in Vancouver, BC, co-hosted by Engineers and Geoscientists BC. The day’s agenda includes a workshop on Re-imagining Engineering: Amplifying Early Career Voices for Inclusive Change, and three breakout sessions focused on gender representation and data collection, navigating intersectionality in engineering, and engineering system change for gender equity. The day will conclude with a fireside chat about what the future holds from the 30 by 30 initiative.

While the conference will be hosted in Vancouver, there is an option to view the morning keynote as a livestream.

Registration is now open for the 2025 conference and early-bird pricing is available until March 14. Sponsorship opportunities are also available. Find more information about conference sessions, sponsorship, and registration details on the conference website.
