Registration has opened for the 2026 CCWESTT Conference, Beyond Boundaries: Collaborating for Collective Action, taking place in Calgary, AB, from May 23 to 26, 2026.

Engineers Canada has partnered with the Canadian Coalition of Women in Engineering, Science, Trades and Technology (CCWESTT) and the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta (APEGA) to host this year’s CCWESTT Conference. The first full day (May 24) of the CCWESTT Conference is dedicated to 30 by 30 programming, replacing Engineers Canada’s annual 30 by 30 Conference.

Beyond Boundaries: Collaborating for Collective Action will build on the momentum of over 30 years of CCWESTT conferences. Discover actions everyone can take to improve culture, policies, and retention at work and in learning environments. Together, we'll take action towards gender equity in science, engineering, trades and technology.

Three days of programming

Developed in partnership with Engineers Canada and the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta (APEGA), Day 1 focuses beyond the 30 by 30 initiative, exploring shifts in culture across all of science, engineering, trades and technology. Topics such as reconciliation, accessibility and allyship will be explored as we hold crucial conversations towards achieving our shared vision to create safe, inclusive spaces where everyone thrives.

Day 2 of the conference focuses on impacting structures and policy for change, expanding on the CCWESTT tradition of Policy Forums held at previous conferences. Dive deep into CCWESTT’s new Gender Equality Report Card, and learn from how leaders of systemic change have shifted the needle in gender equity.

The final day of the conference features community best practices. Learn from leaders in educational institutions, companies, not-for profits, and more on how they are collaborating for collective action.

Register today on the conference website. Early-bird pricing is available until March 10, 2026. Attendees can register to attend a single day of the conference (for example, the 30 by 30 programming on May 24) at a reduced cost, or are welcome to register for the full three-day conference.
