May 13, 2019 marked the launch of this year’s Enrolment and Degrees Awarded Survey, which was particularly exciting because it also marked the first deployment of our new data management system, Tandem. To prepare for this, we’ve delivered five training sessions (two French, three English), which were attended by 78 registrants.
Feedback indicates that participants feel ready to start using Tandem for Enrolment and Degrees Awarded survey. Participants noted that the survey process overview, the introduction to the look, feel, and navigation of the site, and the in-depth discussions about the Tandem functionality were particularly helpful. We continue to make improvements based on user input.
Tandem users can continue their learning by:
- Scanning the Tandem User Guide available through the Documents tab in Tandem.
- When available, reviewing the pre-recorded Tandem training screen-cast.
- Completing the self-directed learning training scenario available through the Documents tab in Tandem. The module takes learners through the process to access their 2018 enrolment and degrees awarded submission, enter their 2019 data, and use the Export to print / PDF functions.
- Participating in an upcoming Tandem virtual drop-in session, facilitated by Engineers Canada’s Tandem support team.
