On October 23, Engineers Canada welcomed Mya Warken to the accreditation team as our Accreditation Program Specialist. Mya will be the point person for all things related to the training of participants involved in the accreditation of engineering education programs.
Prior to joining Engineers Canada, Mya was the Team Lead, CPD Accreditation at the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada in Ottawa. She is a graduate of Carleton University with a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Political Science and Canadian Studies and has several years of experience in accreditation. She holds a certificate in project management and has also worked in volunteer management and recognition.
