Eleven higher education institutions (HEIs) who will be receiving accreditation visits during next year’s cycle recently participated in a workshop designed to help them prepare for their upcoming visits. Engineers Canada staff incorporated techniques from last month’s train-the-trainer session, such as a live demonstration of the course information sheet (CIS). Participants also received information on criteria modifications, on trends noted by visiting team in terms of compliance issues, and on tips for completing their written submission for the visiting team. The workshop was the second of its kind, and in both instances feedback from participants has been very positive.
