BC Place Revitalization

National Award for an Engineering Project or Achievement, 2013

BC Place is the largest event facility of its kind in British Columbia. Its revitalization posed significant challenges to the engineering teams and represents a number of technical achievements. Among these include the design and construction of the largest cable-supported retractable membrane roof structure in the world, the first of its kind in North America.
