Over one hundred events took place during National Engineering Month at higher education institutions, engineering companies, and industry organizations across Canada. From doors open events to design competitions, from hands-on activities to exhibitions and workshops, the engineering profession invited you in to discover the future that engineers are building. Water for the World workshops

The Water for the World workshops are presented every year around the GTA and bring together, Professional Engineers, EIT's, Engineering University students and middle and high school students to explore the issues around global clean water access. The workshop uses a filter building exercise to demonstrate the global challenges.

Building Bridges: Empowering Hispanic Girls & Moms in STEM

Building Bridges is a 6-week mentorship program designed to introduce Hispanic girls (ages 8-15) to STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) while fostering a strong bond with their mothers or female guardians. Through hands-on activities, mentorship from industry professionals, and interactive learning experiences, participants gain confidence, problem-solving skills, and exposure to engineering and technology fields.
