The American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) recently launched a series of new, premium guided online courses that provide rigorous learning for international civil engineers—in Canada and beyond—in high-demand topics such as construction, architecture, structures, water, forensics and sustainability, to name a few.

ASCE’s courses deliver online instruction via six- or 12-week modules and offer a flexible format, peer-instructor interaction, video lectures, peer collaboration, and interactive course content, They provide a faster way for engineers to meet their continuing education goals.

Three of ASCE’s upcoming courses—on pricing and bidding, development of GIS models for asset management, and principles of critical path scheduling—have been accredited by the Canadian Construction Association’s Gold Seal Program, which recognizes that the courses meet the Program’s Curriculum Standard education and training requirements.
