New president: Engineers Canada appointed Jean Boudreau as its president for the 2020-2021 term.
Disciplinary decision: A discipline decision from Engineers and Geoscientists BC found that Ahmad Raza Syed breached its code of ethics in accepting work related to installation of glass guard rails, even though he wasn’t adequately trained or experienced in the engineering of them.
U of T’s youngest grad: Maddy (Xiaoxiao) Zhang, 18, graduated from U of T’s engineering science program, and was the youngest person in her year.
