PEO: The Ontario engineering regulator has announced that Jennifer Quaglietta has been appointed as Chief Executive Officer/Registrar, effective January 9, 2023. She succeeds Johnny Zuccon, who announced his intention to retire in March 2022. 

Ventilation complaint: A group of concerned parents and education advocates have submitted a regulatory complaint to the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta (APEGA) under the Calgary Board of Education’s permit to practice for what they call “unethical” ventilation practices. 

Tower crane best practices: The Residential Construction Council of Ontario (RESCON) and its industry partners have released a comprehensive best practices guide as part of their ongoing commitment to continuous improvement. The guide will be used by builders and trade contractors when erecting, operating and dismantling tower cranes.
