Representatives from all five Atlantic higher education institutions gathered in Moncton on March 7, 2017, for an interactive session to learn more about engineering education accreditation, graduate attribute assessment and the continual improvement process.

The session, hosted by the Université de Moncton at their Moncton campus, offered close to 35 participants a keynote presentation by Canadian Engineering Accreditation Board chair Wayne MacQuarrie, FEC, P.Eng., as well as presentations and workshops by Brian Frank and Jake Kaupp of the Engineering Graduate Attribute Development (EGAD) Project.

Université de Moncton, Memorial University, University of New Brunswick, Dalhousie University and the University of Prince Edward Island were in attendance, and Engineers PEI participated through their Executive Director. Engineers & Geoscientists New Brunswick contributed to the success of this event by providing sponsorship and participating in the session through their Director of Registration.

Participants in this event walked away with new insights and strategies. It is expected that this type of event will be organized again in the future.
