Engineers Canada depends on the contribution of volunteers. They provide expertise and insight that enriches our programs, products, and services while acting as ambassadors for our work and champions of our vision.
More than 300 individuals from the engineering community across the country contribute their time, expertise, and passion through boards, workshops, committees, accreditation visits, outreach, and more. They offer their voice to key discussions, their knowledge to decision-making processes, and their leadership to initiatives that aim to advance engineering – all of which contribute immensely to the work of Engineers Canada.
The efforts of volunteers have been a vital part of the work of Engineers Canada since its inception. For most of its history, Engineers Canada has been a small organization which relied heavily on the efforts of volunteers. While our staff complement has certainly grown since those early days, the important role of volunteers has remained.
