Go CODE Girl - Ontario Tech University

Curious about coding, AI, or how games and websites are made? Go CODE Girl is a free, hands-on conference where you’ll explore coding, software engineering, and computer science in a fun and welcoming environment—no experience needed!

You’ll learn coding basics through interactive activities led by Ontario Tech Engineering students and see how coding is used in everyday life. You’ll also hear from current university students and industry professionals about what software engineers and computer scientists actually do, what university is like, and how you can get started now.

9th Annual Curling Bonspiel

he National Engineering Month Curling Event is a fun and engaging competition designed to promote social networking among participants. Teams will represent various organizations, fostering friendly competition in a relaxed environment. Team registration is now open and each team must include a minimum of two Engineers Nova Scotia registrants. Every team will play 4 one-hour (4-end) games.

Through a panel of TMU FEAS Graduate Ambassadors, the session will highlight different post-graduation journeys, including graduate studies (Master’s and PhD), industry careers, and hybrid pathways that combine research and practice.

Virtual Town Hall Session I

As part of online National Engineering Month activities, join Engineers Nova Scotia CEO & Registrar, Pal Mann, FEC, P.Eng., for an informative session on engineering in Nova Scotia and way forward. This moderated, interactive sessions will allow you to engage with the CEO in topics that are important to you. Q&A session will be followed for you to ask questions and join the discussion.

Two sessions will be held in March (March 11 and March 18) to accommodate registrants’ schedules. Both sessions cover the same content.
