Writing an Effective Resume Workshop
This session is open to University of Alberta Engineering students and alumni ONLY.
Are you applying to numerous jobs but not landing any interviews? Your resume is key to unlocking opportunities.
Learn tips and strategies that will help you create a resume that best showcases your qualifications for engineering roles, and aligns with the position being targeted. Specifically, we’ll cover:
what to include, how to write skill statements, formatting do’s and don’ts, and other best practices to help your application land in the 'to be considered' pile.
Bring a copy of your current resume and be prepared to make notes on how to improve it. Don’t already have a resume? No worries, this session will provide you with information and insights that will make writing your first engineering resume easier.
This session will be delivered in person by Engineering Career Connections from 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM MST.
