APEGA president: On April 24, John Van der Put took the helm at APEGA as their 101st president.

COVID-19 and HVAC systems: A group of mechanical engineers at the University of Alberta are working on ways that buildings can change their HVAC set-ups to curb the spread of COVID-19.

UBC students: UBC engineering students have developed a low-cost ventilator, and their design is a finalist in the Code Life Ventilator Challenge, an international competition that has attracted more than 1,000 teams from 94 countries.

University of Waterloo alumni: Prime Minister Justin Trudeau announced that hundreds of units of a medical device developed by University of Waterloo engineering grads have been ordered to help in the fight against COVID-19.
