Annette Bergeron: Former Engineers Canada president Annette Bergeron has been elected to chair the board of directors for Ontario’s Electrical Safety Authority (ESA).

Gina Cody: Gina Cody, the first woman to earn a PhD in building engineering from Concordia University, has been appointed to the Order of Canada for her “long-standing career as an engineer and business leader, and for being a trailblazer for women in the field.”

Queen’s Engineering: Queen’s Connections Engineering Outreach hopes that its upcoming ‘Little STEMs’ project will spark girls’ passion for science and engineering.

Queen’s computer engineering student Alex Koch joined forces with two childhood friends to create a COVID-inspired monitor for public spaces that communicates cleanliness in real-time so employees know what’s dirty and customers use what’s clean.
