UWaterloo: Engineering students at the University of Waterloo pulled a school bus 6.4 km from the university campus to downtown Kitchener, an annual event that raises money for charity. 

Interprovincial mobility: To address possible barriers to professional mobility across the country, the federal government and other provinces have recently considered recognizing a national credential for several professions. A statement from Engineers and Geoscientists BC describes the efficient licensing process in the province, saying that the regulator believes the needs of Canadians are well met by the processes in place and Engineers and Geoscientists BC will continue to monitor this situation as it unfolds.

Quebec budget: In their response to the release of the Quebec provincial budget, the Association des firmes de génie-conseil du Québec (AFG) applauded the Quebec government’s decision to invest in infrastructure as a solution to current economic uncertainty.
