Human Rights Award: Cassandra Pitchford, a University of New Brunswick mechanical engineering student, is a recipient of the New Brunswick Youth Human Rights Award for her disability advocacy.
USask: Dr. Amira Abdelrasoul, an associate professor in the University of Saskatchewan College of Engineering and a member of APEGS, is the recipient of the 2021 Young Investigator Excellence Award from the Canadian Light Source, as well as being recognized as one of 18 outstanding chemical engineering women researchers across the globe by the Journal of Chemical Engineering Research and Design.
Kathy Baig: Engineers Canada President, and former president of OIQ, Kathy Baig has joined Stantec’s Quebec team as vice president, positioning and business development.
