Ethical renaissance: In the context of the climate crisis, an opinion piece on CorporateKnights.com calls for engineering regulators to institute modernized guidelines, stricter regulations and heedful enforcement to hold engineering companies accountable for their environmental and social repercussions.

Catherine McKenna: In an appearance at ACEC's virtual AGM in late October, Minister of Infrastructure and Communities Catherine McKenna urged engineers to “think hard” as they designed projects as every dollar spent on infrastructure must target federal government goals, such as fighting climate change and boosting inclusivity.

ACEC: Also during ACEC's virtual AGM, Sylvia Jungkind was announced as the recipient of its 2020 chair’s award, while Anthony Karakatsanis was named as ACEC's next chair.
