Canada’s largest celebration of engineering is a month away! Engineers Canada is looking for leaders in the engineering community to lead events during #NEM2024.
Presented by Engineers Canada each March, National Engineering Month celebrates the heart and soul of engineers—their passion, commitment, and action towards making the world a better place. Events take place from coast to coast to coast that introduce children and youth to engineering, while other events empower and inspire engineering students, EITs, and early-career engineers to consider their role in society. By leading events during National Engineering Month, you’ll be part of a national campaign of volunteers who are sharing their passion for engineering and drive to create tangible efforts that improve our world with the next generation of engineers and engineering leaders.
Engineers Canada is seeking submissions for National Engineering Month events to include in the National Engineering Month national calendars:
Host an event that sparks an interest in the next generation of engineers!
For more than two decades, National Engineering Month has been an opportunity for children and youth to explore engineering with events that demonstrate how a career in engineering can open doors. It presents limitless possibilities to not only make things, but make things better. To drive innovation and progress. To add resiliency and sustainability. To bring people together. To inspire. To take what’s been done and make it better. To improve how we live, how we get around, how we connect.

Host an event for engineering students, EITs, and early-career engineers!
National Engineering Month events also empower and inspire engineering students, EITs, and early-career engineers to consider important questions as they embark on their careers: what is our role, as engineers, in society? What will my impact be as an engineer? How can we use our passion and commitment to engineer solutions to today’s biggest challenges?
