The Climate Risk Institute, in partnership with the Canada Green Building Council, is launching a new course — Building Skills for Climate Change: Low-Carbon Buildings Training. Partially funded by the Government of Canada, this six-week online course is the first of its kind, offering engineering professionals the skills and knowledge to retrofit and build the low-carbon buildings needed for a climate-safe future.

Engineers Canada was thrilled to support the development of a curriculum that explores specialized themes and subject areas including Indigenous knowledges and decolonization, equity, diversity and inclusion, social justice, knowledge mobilization and capacity-building, and technical and engineering services.

The first session is on November 8, 2023. Registration for this course is limited and will be on a first-come, first-served basis. However, there will be more offerings in future. For more details and registration, click here
