Engineers Canada’s Hill Day has become one of our organization’s most successful government relations events and has been the cornerstone of our organization’s national advocacy strategy. Hill Day is an annual event hosted by Engineers Canada that sees Engineers Canada representatives meet with parliamentarians and their staff to raise awareness of the issues directly affecting the engineering profession across Canada. Engineers Canada’s 2018 Hill Day will be focused on supporting diversity within the profession, as well as promoting the importance of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) education at the secondary and post-secondary level.

This year, to kick off Hill Day 2018, Engineers Canada will be hosting a breakfast event in the Parliamentary Dining Room in Centre Block on February 27th. This is a great opportunity for Engineers Canada’s Board members, Presidents, CEOs, and other stakeholders who are not otherwise participating in Hill Day to attend a breakfast in the company of parliamentarians.

If you wish to attend the breakfast, pre-registration is required for security reasons.

If you have any questions about Engineers Canada’s advocacy efforts, or would like more information about this event, please contact Joey Taylor, Practice Lead, Public Affairs, at joey.taylor@engineerscanada.ca.
