Envision® Sustainability Professional (ENV SP) Credential Training

The Envision® Framework for Sustainable Infrastructure has been actively in used in Canada since its inception more than a decade ago. In 2021, the Canadian Society for Civil Engineering (CSCE) entered into the Envision Canada partnership with the Institute for Sustainable Infrastructure (ISI) and adopted Envision® as the leading sustainable infrastructure framework in Canada to help accelerate the sustainability, resilience, and equity performance outcomes of Canadian infrastructure projects of all types.

The framework is supported by the Envision Sustainability Professional (ENV SP) designation—an increasingly important credential for any professional involved in capital infrastructure. Whether you work in public or private sector; in design or construction; or on capital projects in transportation, water, wastewater, waste, energy supply, natural infrastructure, etc. the credential training orients and equips professionals with the base knowledge needed to use the comprehensive Envision framework as a tool in advancing the sustainability performance of their capital projects.

8,000 professionals globally, and over 800 in Canada, have obtained the Envision Sustainability Professional credential to help advance the sustainability performance of their capital projects.

Training will be delivered virtually in two parts, over two half-days (both mandatory). Following the training ENV SP candidates will be prepared to take the online self-paced exam to earn their ENV SP credential. Completion of the training is a prerequisite for taking the exam and examination fees are included in the training fee.
