The Qualifications Board celebrated its 100th meeting on April 17, 2018. Highlights included the approval of the National guideline: Climate change adaptation and mitigation for professional engineers and Model guide: Direct supervision, which will go to the Engineers Canada Board for final approval in May.
The milestone was celebrated at a dinner with Qualifications Board members past and present, as well as regulator staff, and Engineers Canada staff. Speakers included past Qualifications Board chairs and current Engineers Canada leadership, who collectively emphasized the outstanding dedication of Qualifications Board volunteers have demonstrated to the Canadian engineering profession and the long-term value of the collaboration between the Qualifications Board and Engineers Canada staff.
