Engineers Canada kicks off National Engineering Month 2017

February 27, 2017

Organized by the provincial and territorial engineering regulators, and with the support of countless volunteers, over 500 events will take place throughout March from coast to coast to coast for young Canadians to learn about the exciting, fun and rewarding world of engineering. These include, for example, design competitions, robotics demonstrations, and science and engineering fairs that will teach young Canadians how to use math, science, technology and creativity to generate things that were once only in their imaginations.

Engineers Canada recognizes six engineers with scholarship awards

At a ceremony last night, Engineers Canada honoured the six recipients of its 2016 scholarship program. The recipients were chosen from a large number of submissions from across Canada. This year they represent studies in chemical engineering, civil engineering, aerospace engineering as well as education in business administration and STEM education. The six annual scholarships are made possible through the generous support of Manulife and TD Insurance Meloche Monnex
