Ontario and P.E.I. students represent Canada at Future City Finals in Washington, D.C.

On February 21, 2017, students from Alexander Graham Bell Public School in Ajax, ON, and Grace Christian School in P.E.I., traveled to Washington, D.C. to compete in the Future City Finals against 41 other teams from three the United States, China and the Middle East.

Engineers Canada and Nevada State Board of Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors strike agreement to improve registration of engineers across borders

On Thursday, January 12, 2017, the Nevada State Board of Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors signed a memorandum of understanding with Engineers Canada to streamline the licensure process for Canadian engineers who are registered through the Engineers Canada Mobility Register.

Ontario and P.E.I. students to represent Canada at DiscoverE’s Future City Competition in Washington, D.C.

At a competition at the Durham District School Board yesterday, students from Alexander Graham Bell Public School were named the winners of the inaugural Future City Competition in Ontario. They will join a team of students from Grace Christian School in Prince Edward Island who will travel to Washington, D.C., in February to compete against teams from across North America at the Future City Finals.

Organizational Quality Management program certifies first companies outside of BC

Following four years of success in BC, Engineers Canada launched a pilot program in 2016 to expand the Organizational Quality Management (OQM) program to other provinces and territories. Seven companies, in five provinces outside of BC, now hold OQM certificates, with a number of other certifications pending.
