Engineers Canada is performing a governance review. The purpose of the review is to take stock of the current governance system, learn from leading governance practices and identify ways to enhance our governance framework and processes so that they are efficient and responsive to contemporary issues.

The review will focus on the Board’s composition and competencies; roles, operation and reporting of standing committees and direct reports; and voting procedures and observers’ rights at the Board and Members’ meetings. The review is being conducted as part of the strategic direction Realizing a Stronger Federation. The expected outcome is that appropriate changes are endorsed by all twelve engineering Regulators.
