Over one hundred events took place during National Engineering Month at higher education institutions, engineering companies, and industry organizations across Canada. From doors open events to design competitions, from hands-on activities to exhibitions and workshops, the engineering profession invited you in to discover the future that engineers are building. Public Engineering Day
Public Engineering Day is organized by Engineers Nova Scotia and will take place at the Halifax Central Public Library on March 29, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM
This event is open to the public and aims to cultivate curiosity in STEM, specifically exploring the world of engineering. The event will feature displays and booths from industry experts, community groups, and university groups.

1UP Youth City-Building Conference
The 2025 1UP Conference will bring together Ontario high school students for a Design Jam competition, panel discussion and networking with industry professionals in planning, architecture, engineering and urban design. Youth will experience hands-on, collaborative learning from peers and professional facilitators. The 1UP Conference is a space for youth who are interested in these fields to explore potential career pathways and receive guidance from the event’s professional volunteers.
