Plus d’une centaine d’événements ont eu lieu au cours du Mois national du génie dans des établissements d’enseignement supérieur, des entreprises d’ingénierie et des organismes du secteur partout au Canada. C’était par le biais de journées portes ouvertes, de concours de conception, d’activités pratiques, d’expositions et d’ateliers que la profession d’ingénieur vous a invité à entrer dans son univers afin de découvrir l’avenir que construisent les ingénieur.e.s. Engineers Nova Scotia Trivia Night
Join us for Trivia Night at Dalhousie University to kick off National Engineering Month 2026 and win the prize! This fun and social evening brings people together for trivia, food, and great conversation in a casual campus setting. The trivia competition will feature a mix of engineering-themed questions and general knowledge, so there is something for everyone. Whether you are a trivia master or just coming for fun, you will have the chance to chat, connect, and enjoy some friendly competition with peers. Throughout the evening, free pizza will be served for attendees.

CAGIS Virtual: Pulley Palooza
Did you know that scientists recently discovered evidence suggesting pulleys were used in the construction of the Egyptian pyramids?
Join engineering students, Sophia and Francesca, and build one of the most ancient engineering inventions: a compound pulley! Explore the design of pulley systems, the physics behind these simple (but super powerful) machines, and then put them to the test! Can your pulley system build a pyramid?!
This is an online event for girls and gender-diverse youth aged 7 to 17.

Faculty of Engineering Open House
Have you ever wondered what goes on at Memorial's Engineering Faculty? We are here to show you ... all sorts of interesting things! The faculty's annual open house is the perfect way to spend the day learning about all things engineering.
Our open house will run from 10am - 3pm in the S. J. Carew Building.
Our open house events are free and there is something for the entire family. Be sure to check out the Memorial Engineering Outreach station in EN2007 to see some exciting robots, 3D printing, design challenges and more.

Building Bridges – Empowering Latina Girls & Moms in STEM
Building Bridges is an 8-week STEM and leadership program designed to empower Latina girls (ages 8–15) and their mothers through hands-on engineering activities, mentorship, and confidence-building experiences.
As part of National Engineering Month, this initiative introduces participants to different engineering disciplines including mechanical, electrical, electronic, and chemical engineering. Each session is led by a professional engineer who guides interactive experiments, design challenges, and creative problem-solving activities.

Go CODE Girl - Ontario Tech University
Curious about coding, AI, or how games and websites are made? Go CODE Girl is a free, hands-on conference where you’ll explore coding, software engineering, and computer science in a fun and welcoming environment—no experience needed!
You’ll learn coding basics through interactive activities led by Ontario Tech Engineering students and see how coding is used in everyday life. You’ll also hear from current university students and industry professionals about what software engineers and computer scientists actually do, what university is like, and how you can get started now.

The Girls for Good Futures workshop will lead you through an engaging Design Thinking process to address climate change and social justice in your community. 9th Annual Curling Bonspiel
he National Engineering Month Curling Event is a fun and engaging competition designed to promote social networking among participants. Teams will represent various organizations, fostering friendly competition in a relaxed environment. Team registration is now open and each team must include a minimum of two Engineers Nova Scotia registrants. Every team will play 4 one-hour (4-end) games.
