Plus d’une centaine d’événements ont eu lieu au cours du Mois national du génie dans des établissements d’enseignement supérieur, des entreprises d’ingénierie et des organismes du secteur partout au Canada. C’était par le biais de journées portes ouvertes, de concours de conception, d’activités pratiques, d’expositions et d’ateliers que la profession d’ingénieur vous a invité à entrer dans son univers afin de découvrir l’avenir que construisent les ingénieur.e.s. The competition gives the community a preview of the cutting-edge research done by the next generation of designers, innovators and entrepreneurs. Virtual Town Hall Session II

As part of online National Engineering Month activities, join Engineers Nova Scotia CEO & Registrar, Pal Mann, FEC, P.Eng., for an informative session on engineering in Nova Scotia and way forward. This moderated, interactive sessions will allow you to engage with the CEO in topics that are important to you. Q&A session will be followed for you to ask questions and join the discussion.

Two sessions will be held in March (March 11 and March 18) to accommodate registrants’ schedules. Both sessions cover the same content.

The Biomedical Engineer’s Ethical Dilemma Lab

The Biomedical Engineer’s Ethical Dilemma Lab is an interactive, graduate-focused workshop that examines real ethical decision-making challenges faced by biomedical engineers working at the intersection of research, healthcare, and technology.

Rather than abstract ethics lectures, participants will work through realistic engineering case studies involving biomedical devices, diagnostics, and data-driven health technologies. Each case will require attendees to weigh technical performance, patient impact, uncertainty, regulatory constraints, and professional responsibility.

Sweat & Sip Spin Class

“We don’t spin, We ride”. From a perfectly curated playlist to the theatrical lighting and sound system, this class is truly a party on a bike. Beat classes feature high-intensity cardio, rhythm-based choreography and upper-body weights. This full body workout will take you on a physical and emotional journey. Hosted by the Emerging Professionals committee. The class will be followed by light refreshments.
